International Liaison and Development Officer (Europe)

Responsible for creating networks and affiliations with like-organizations and appropriate individuals in the relevant region. This member may also suggest and/or host OICD workshops in the relevant region, and help to build projects which operate in the relevant area. The member may also wish to report on other relevant projects operating in the region, and/or on pertinent ongoing or potential conflicts.

Student/Postgraduate Liaison and Development Officer

Responsible for making the OICD known and accessible to students, this member will encourage students to attend OICD meetings and become involved in any and all aspects of the organizations activates. It is expected that the member will co-ordinate with the International Liaison and Development Officers to accomplish this work across various regions.

Anthropology, Identity-Studies and Popularization Officers

Anthropologists who have contributed significantly to work on the study of identity, and/or who have significantly increased the awareness of anthropological perspectives and/or ethnographic research, amongst the non-academic public. These members will report on ways that the organization is helping to achieve its goals in this area, as well as suggest and/or build projects which allow it to continue to do so.

Interdisciplinary Liaison Officer

Responsible for creating networks and making the OICD existence and activities known to relevant disciplines (linguistics, education, psychology etc.) and for involving relevant individuals and organizations in these activities.

Rupert Cox, (Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology, University of Manchester)

Media/Film Project Advisor

A member who can advise and help on campaign projects which use media/film.

Applied Campaign/Project Development Officer

Responsible for reporting to the general members and executive committee on new and innovate applied projects arising from academic and non-academic fields. The member may also wish to suggest the launching of OICD projects, and head up sub-committees whose function is to bring them to fruition.

Education and Training Project and Curriculum Development Officer

Responsible for reporting to the general members and executive committee on new and innovate educational projects and curriculums arising from academic and non-academic fields. The member may also wish to suggest the launching of OICD projects, and head up sub-committees whose function is to bring them to fruition.

On-line Presence Development Officer

Responsible for the upkeep of the website and ideas for how the OICD can develop its online presence, this role also offers scope for the suggesting of innovative on-line projects and the heading up of sub-committees whose function is to bring them to fruition.

 

Mark Davidheiser

Editoral and Project Development Officer

Working to develop and enhance new and existing projects. Also responsible for co-ordination of editorial teams around the OICD online and offline publishing efforts.
