The On-line Magazine for Interpretative Anthropology

The On-Line Magazine of Interpretative Anthropology

Affiliate/Sponsor:

The growth in the popularity of anthropology-derived courses worldwide--new cultural studies, comparative cultural, intercultural communications programs--suggests a general trend in the way in which anthropological perspectives are increasingly seen as essential tools for understanding local and global societies.  Appealing to the general public and to students and social science professionals alike, Global Ethnographic intends to reach out to those exploring this new expanding subject area, and beyond it too.

GE is searching for institutional support to help it achieve further popularisation of these timely perspectives.  We encourage any direct sponsorship offers of funds and/or infrastructure. Also, as a means to supply core funding, we encourage institutions to sign up as an 'affiliate' with the possibility of promoting your services on the GE site.  We particularly encourage university departments (anthropology, cultural studies, sociology etc.) to see the potential of GE affiliation and to take advantage of this opportunity to make themselves known to a wide international audience.  By becoming a GE affiliate you will have the option of advertising particular courses that you offer on the GE site inclusive in your initial affiliate rate.  Because of its global reach and contemporary presentation of anthropological issues and themes you can expect increased interest in your courses and/or institution both domestically and internationally.

You can become a GE affiliate for the special introductory launch price of 150 dollars/euro per annum.  As GE attracts a wide variety of readers this small investment could increase your profile internationally and keep you associated with the ongoing popular pulse of ethnographic research and perspectives as well as bringing new or existing courses a new influx of students.  Global Ethnographic is part of the Organisation for Intra-Cultural Development, a non-profit anthropological and humanitarian organisation.

If you would like to take this opportunity to become a GE affiliate, or would like to donate funds or anything else to GE, then please visit the OICD online payment pages Donate and Affiliate. Or to arrange an alternative payment method send an email to sponsor@globalethnographic.com stating your institution name and location.  In return we will send you directions for making your payment.

Thank you.
